Business mode
Connect Xero or QuickBooks and automatically surface recurring payments, price creep and bank fees — no CSV exports, no manual work.
- Read-only access — CostWatch can never create, edit or delete anything in your books.
- Secure OAuth2 login — you sign in directly with Xero/QuickBooks; we never see or store your accounting password.
- Disconnect any time, from CostWatch or directly from your accounting platform — access is revoked immediately.
Built to be trusted with real financial data
- Individual mode never uploads anything — your bank statement is parsed entirely in your browser, and nothing about your transactions reaches a server unless you choose to sync a summary.
- Business mode uses Xero's and QuickBooks' own secure login screens (OAuth2) — CostWatch never sees or stores your accounting password, and only ever requests read-only access to transactions.
- You're always in control — disconnect Xero or QuickBooks at any time, from CostWatch or directly from your accounting platform, and access is revoked immediately.
