How this PoC works
- Drop or select a CSV with columns including Date, Description, and Amount.
- Add CSVs from more than one bank — they're combined into a single view, and exact duplicate transactions (e.g. re-uploading an overlapping statement) are skipped automatically.
- The parser runs locally in your browser (using PapaParse).
- We group transactions by description and flag repeated payments as potential subscriptions.
- Results are saved to this browser's local storage only, so they're still here next time you visit — nothing is uploaded.
- Optional: sign in to sync your detected results (not the raw transactions) across devices — see Privacy for exactly what that means.
